I spent the whole of Sunday cleaning out my office, because apparently my hubs thinks my library has exploded in there and taken up the whole space and pushed everyone else out. he didn't really appreciate my reply when I said: "Well, you know what to do - extend the office." (For future notice He is extending my office or I should say building me a room of book cases so all my books are in the one place and not all over the house.)
Why is it when you start rearranging and cleaning crap out, the room gets messier and messier?
I got up early and pulled all the books out of one book case and had them stacked on the kitchen bench and the dining room table and my hubs walks out and goes "Fuck you have a lot of books." which my mum replies with a sarcastic grin, "That's just one book case she has three more to go." (Okay, I admit it - I have a lot of books and they are two deep on every shelf). Em wakes up and takes one look into the room and say: "There's no way in hell I'm getting roped into helping you clean that shit up."
I can tell you right now - " I'm not feeling the love, people." What happened to family loyalty, and lending a helping hand when needed?
Well anyway, the point I was trying to make was - I cleaned my office and now I can't find anything.
LOL I feel ya on the books. I have what four bookcases full plus 5 flash drives. I always need books though. Book slut for sure.

Jettermane and Wind Walkers is still on my Radar I am actually going to end Jettermane because I think they are at the point where I could start a new story and try and pub it and Win Walkers well lets just say I've just printed out what I have to start planning on what's coming next... I just got a little busy... LOL
DeleteCleaning is overrated and a pain in the ass. I'm a stacker and piler and while I occasionally something is lost amongst the stacks and piles usually I know where everything is. The message to my family is "you can burn it all when I'm dead but until then bug off".
ReplyDeleteI like that saying... I may have to use it for my own family... I told my family recently (well when they saw the letter pinned to my office cork board... When I die I don't want my funeral to be filled with a whole lot of words that mean jack-shit to anyone... I want my funeral to be full of Booze and Music and everyone to be having a good time and then I left a list of songs they can play.
