Day 124: Public Holiday (May Day)

 

The kids are home today so you guessed it there is arguing galore happening. Graceful has decided to hide out in her room to keep out of Hurricane and Monsoon's line of sight. I wish I could do that. Sadly, I still had to get up and do stuff to keep the house running.

The girls helped their mum cook cupcakes today. So, the house smells sickly sweet. they are going to love them. Well, graceful will. The other two don't really eat cake. they are more your chocolate and chips kind of snackers.

It has been raining on and off all day today. A real crap day for washing. We still did two loads; thank God that we have clothes airers and can hang everything under cover... Sure, we could use the dryer, but by using the airers, I don't have to pay for the power usage; and I think the clothes smell better when they are air dried. Plus, we have a patio where we can set up the airers, and if it rains too much, we can always bring them inside.

I have a headache today. I have set aside time to give myself a haircut. Seeing as I shave my head, it's easy enough to do myself.

Until tomorrow, remember: It's never a bad day to have a Star Wars marathon.
