Day 126: Busy Day

Today, I have to get my niece, (Aunty Yace); to pick Moonsoon up before school. then I have to drop Hurricane off at school, and then mum and I have doctor appointments. and that's all before 9am. Yace dropped Monsoon back off by 11:30 and We got Hurricane after school. I had them bathed and fed before their mum picked them up in the evening.

in between all of that I started wiping out the cupboards that I've already emptied. I'm trying to stay ahead of my moving schedule.

Day 125: Sleep Over Night

Today was a big day for Hurricane:

1. She got and award on parade

2. She has an ADHD specialist appointment in the arvo.

3. has to sleep at my house with Monsoon because Graceful has an early (rescheduled) eisteddfod in the morning.

They be easy to please for dinner as I know exactly what they will both ask for dinner... pasta (no sauce) with cheese, and a cup of orange cordial.

Day 124: Switch Up

Today I took a break from my place and went and did some work at the other house. I need to make some space so that when I start bringing over our stuff there is actually somewhere to put it.

We pulled apart a silky oak double bed that my daughter's ex-husband is taking for when he has the girls sleep over, they have a bed. Which is good because it's one less thing we have to find room for. and I won't ever have to walk into the ends of it and come away with massive bruises.

You guessed it. I came home with more washing. So, I got that done while I puttered around the house doing little things. As I wore myself out at the other house.

Day 123: Laundry Day

Today I spent most of the day either folding dry washing or washing and hanging out new loads of washing. Lately it seems like a never-ending cycle. just when I think I'm done I find a heap more that needs doing.

In between I'm packing up all the excess pantry to get that out of the way, and I'll do the same with my bedside tables as I'm giving them to my nephew; I have other ones to use.

I think I will cook a piece of silverside (corned beef) so that we have leftovers for sandwiches.

Day 122: Clean Up

I cleaned up the house after the kids went home. not that it was really messy, but we decided to go through the tub of colouring in books while they were here and got rid of the ones that were all filled up. some of them had been through three generations of cousins. I thought it was about time that we started fresh. next on the list will be getting new pencils, but the ones we have now will last a while longer.

I was much happier once my room was back to rights. I'm not going to miss the kids being in my room all the time. At least at the next place they can play outside. or down the other end of the house in t heir area.

Day 121: Another Sleep Over

The granddaughters are sleeping over because their mum has a birthday party to go to. I'm not going to get any sleep tonight, because apparently Hurricane and Monsoon napped today. I'll do them a mixed platter of all their favourite foods for dinner. I also got them some new colouring in books.

I finally caught up on all the washing. AT least it's done now. I'm already tired already and it's not even dark yet... wish me luck.

Day 120: Not Well Today

I'm still feeling like utter crap today. I know I won't be getting anything done. That, and I have Monsoon both before and after school. Weirdly my feet are burning like hell. Probably because I'm overweight, but today it's annoying the piss out of me. I want one day (just one) where I don't wake up with something hurting... I know I'm just bitching... everything is just a part of getting older. As I always tell my daughter... I just need to suck it up, Princess.

Today I had a time out and watched Good Cop/ Bad Cop on Stan... I liked it. I would probably watch it again. though Monsoon made me turn it to Wednesday when she got here in the arvo... because she just loves that Wednesday Addams.
