Day 138: Threadbear

 

My brother passed away today at 4:50pm. At least he is finally out of pain now. He will be missed by many.

Graceful and Hurricane each received awards on parade today.

Everyone came back to our house to stay so we were pretty full up. I'm not sure how long they will stay for. it could be hours it could be days.

Day 137: Resting, But Not

 

I managed to drop the plastic tubs off at new place. Low and behold there was no one there to help me unload everything. I had to do it in two loads as I wanted the stacks of tubs out of my lounge room.

Everyone was coming over for a visit for brunch. I'm tired and so is mum. We didn't go over to my brother's today. At 93 I have to listen to what my mum needs and for her today it's a rest.

I'm trying to get as much done around the house as I can... I feel like I'm falling behind on my moving plan/schedule.

Day 136: Kitchen

 

This right here is how I'm feeling today. I feel like I could go to bed and sleep for a week straight. The only problem is that I have too much work to get done. I got up early this morning and finished packing the 5 boxes/plastic tubs

Today Jax is having his birthday party. I'm not going because I have too much to do. After Jax's my daughter and the three granddaughters went to her ex-husbands for a BBQ.

Visited my brother for 2 hours and then came home and finally took a time out. Decided to read AKM Miles Sarcity Sanctury.

Day 135: Graceful

 

Graceful starts at her new dance school today. I think she is going to be a lot happier now. My other sister and brother-in-law arrive today. 

On the moving front, I packed up most of my kitchen today. I will try and get them over to the new place in the next couple of days.

We all went and visited my brother again. we have to get our "I love You's in while we can.

A very tiring day.

Day 134: Visiting Threadbear

 

I finally went to see Ted today, and it was a true shock to the system. he is a lot worse that I thought he would be. Honestly, I'll be surprised if he lasts the weekend.

My other sister and brother in-law sent word that they will be here tomorrow. At least we are all here to say our goodbyes. I just wish I wasn't feeling like shit. I have to wear a mask, which is making it harder for me to breathe. But we have to do what we have to do.

I think I'm going to prefer to think about the brother I remember before the cancer ravaged him so much. I hope he passes peacefully in his sleep... I love you, brother. We've had some tough times, but we've also had some bloody good times.

Day 133: Trying Times

Threadbare was too tired for visitors today. So the Kuzmic's didn't go anywhere. I'm going to have to go and see Threadbare at some stage.

I cooked curried sausages and rice for dinner. 

I still have the chills and shakes. I also have a massive headache; I'm coughing and I'm tired as hell.

 I had to have Monsoon while Graceful was at dance. At least I had other people to keep Moonsoon occupied while I try and get some rest.

 

Day 132: The Good & The Bad

 

Graceful is at another eisteddfod. So, today, Miss Kelly came and picked up Hurricane for school. The Kuzmic's went to visit Ted and came home bawling at how bad he looks.

I had Monsoon while Hurricane and Graceful was at swimming lessons.

I'm not feeling well today. My head is pounding and I'm absolutely freezing. I just can't seem to warm up. I think I'll have a hot shower and crawl into bed early.

We just had snatch and grab for dinner and tea because I didn't want to have to stand at the stove cooking.
