Day 96: Clean Up Day

Today we have to finish cleaning up the mess from the kids sugar high yesterday. If I'm honest though, they didn't get much chocolate, and both Hurricane and Graceful ended up giving theirs to Monsoon. which basically turned her into a giggling git... as well as a punch first ask questions later kid until she finally crashed at around 10pm. Hurricane woke up this morning not feeling the best. I'd say her hay fever/ allergies are playing up.

I'm also going to make a start on the driveway today = whipper snipping. It's a dreaded chore but somebody has to do it. And sitting here typing away on my computer isn't getting the work done.

Until tomorrow, remember: Just do it ~ You'll feel better once it's done.

Day 95: Easter Sunday

Today the girls got their couple of eggs and the Easter present. This year it is a Vtech learning computer each:- that way no fighting.

Today I'm cooking a baked dinner for lunch, with roast veg and sloppy peas. I might even make some homemade gravy. It is going to be so good.

Is it bad that I'm already looking forward to school going back. Hurricane gets so bored at home. even though there is plenty to do. she really gets bored. I think it has to do with her ADHD, and then when she is bored, she starts picking fights with her sisters and thinks it's funny.

Until tomorrow, remember: Eat your fill and be happy while doing it.

Day 93: Good Friday

Today I won't be doing much of anything. Because of my life I am catholic. I don't follow all the rules, but Good Friday is always no red meat... basically only fish or vegetarian options. I'm not really a huge red meat eater, but on a day when I can't have it... I crave it... weird as all shit.

I'm going to try and fix the door under my kitchen sink. I had to o and but a whole different hinge (Well I got my niece to pick it up for me). As the hinge on the door doesn't fit into the fixing plate that we got. I got tired of waiting for the real estate to come and repair it. So, we well tackle it ourselves.

Until tomorrow, remember: It's okay to just have a day when you sit and do nothing.

Day 92: Easter Bonnet Parade

We have two Easter bonnet parades... two different schools... two different towns... and both at the exact same time. So, it will be a divide and conquer kind of day. We'll have to decide which of is will have to drive to the kindy in the next town over.

All the kids will be coming home after the parades at it is the start of the Easter holidays. Which reminds me I need to have fish on hand for Good Friday, because for me it is a day of no red meat.

I have a bad headache today. Probably from driving in my old glasses, but until I get up to get my eyes tested again, they will do, as I broke mine when I fell of the top driveways lower edge.

Until tomorrow, remember: Be nice to each other, because you never know what some people are going through.

Day 91: April Fools!

I can see that I'm going to have a day of the kids playing pranks on everyone in the house. Not much different to any other day really. I can't count the times I've had Hurricane and Monsoon yelling out ~ I pranked you.

Other than that, I'm not doing much. I have to tidy the garage and get the bin out for collection. Weather permitting, I'll also mow. I don't want it to get too long.

I'll also have to move the still boxed new trampoline. We'll be putting it together over the Easter break. As well as the sandpit. We got one of those ones where it has a wooden lid that can close down of a night to keep the critters out.

Until tomorrow, remember: Count to ten and start again

Day 90: Bigfoot

I have been watching a whole heap of shows on and about bigfoot. Whether you are a believer or not, they have been interesting to see. the different ways people go in search of a bigfoot site. Me personally, I think there could be some truth to all the stories. I also believe that we should leave well enough alone. That if they do exist, then we should let them live their own lives as they are probably only trying to survive as they know best.

There is one show where the guy that is a sceptic; I just want to reach through the screen and slap him upside the head. He can't believe in the paranormal/mythical... but will then come up with another answer and always starts with. "If you get the perfect setting at the perfect time, this could happen." Where in reality, he couldn't possibly know what the conditions were like on any given night/day.

I'll just keep watching the shows and the ghost ones; because honestly, I just like seeing the people in the show's reaction. sometimes it's funny as hell. Or they seem truly terrified and have the shakes/shivers really bad.

Until tomorrow, remember: What doesn't kill you will probably try again.
