Day 117: Dr Appointments

 

Mum has a doctor appointment today at 11 am. She wants to see about her cough. I bet they stick us with the damn flu needles while we're there. I was also correct in saying that poor Graceful was sick for the entire weekend. I knew it was bad because she didn't go to her swimming lesson, or dance practice, and she never misses dance practice. So, of course the other two had to turn into little ferals for the weekend. getting into as much mischief and being as loud as they possibly could.

Today I am going to work on the Rebel Rouser portion of the synopsis I have been trying to finish writing. As a couple of people, I don't even have a clue who they are... I'll figure it out in the end.

I have to get some more of the soiled washing done. At least the stuff I had on the clothes airers is dry, so if it rains, I can just hang it all out under cover.

Day 114: Sick Again

 

Hurricane and Graceful are home from school. I can guarantee that Hurricane will be sick for a couple of hours and then she'll be fine. Graceful will probably be sick all weekend. Graceful is not often sick, so, when she is she's usually really sick...She will more than likely sleep all day, and Hurricane will be running around annoying the hell out of everyone. At least Monsoon was at kindy, so the three of them weren't home.

I worked some more on my synopsis; while watching more renovation shows (Fixer to Fabulous) I still like Hometown better. Ben and Erin really are my favourite ones on TV at the moment.

I really need a haircut. My head is literally pounding. actually, I don't know what hurts more, my head... my back... or my feet.

Day 113: Taking A Day Off

 

1) Today I'm just watching house renovation shows and re reading my synopsis. I think there is something off between Jess and Grace's book and the synopsis. I'm not sure if it's names or the time frame.  

2) I'm having a peaceful day with all three kids back at school. I only have the cats to contend with.

3) I did manage to get the kitchen cleaned up.

4) I have a massive headache today, So, I'm probably due for another haircut.

5) Not really hungry today, so just having something light for lunch/dinner.

Day 112: Grocery Day

 

I can't believe how much groceries have gone up over the last few months, and then I heard the other day that they are going up again. I got half a trolley load, and it cost $299 and some cents. And then in the other shop it was $265 and some cents...and that was without buying hardly any meat. Seriously, I don't know how people can afford to live on their own, pay rent, all their bills, fuel (which is ridiculously high right now) and still afford groceries; let alone food for a pet. I just know that for 3 cats it costs $80 a fortnight. The second most expensive thing on our grocery list is buying the school lunch foods and snacks. They cost a fortune. Mind you every single week I come home and I have forgotten something important like carrots, or milk, or bread; something we use every damn day.

Then I come home and everyone buggers off so that I can put everything away in the right spots. It drives me bonkers when people rearrange shit on me. I wish my pantry was a little bigger, but we have to live with what we have when we're in a rental
