Time To Stop The Hurting!!!

Seriously, I saw this You Tube post and it had me reaching for the tissues. This kid would have to be one of the bravest kids I have seen in a long time. After watching this I just wanted to reach through the screen and give him a great big hug and tell him that it will get better. But does it really - when too many people just look the other way. BULLYING for any reason should be shut down. Who are we that we feel we have the right to pick on someone just because they don't fit into our kind of normal.

My number one wish for 2012 is that people will hold out a hand in friendship instead of using that same hand to push people down. For the words,  "How are you?" to be spoken instead of, "I hate you!" such simple things and yet they could change someone's life completely... So I say to you all - just think about how your actions and words are going to affect those around you, but mostly think about how the future generations listen and see what we say and do, and how it will shape their own lives, and how they will treat the people around them.

  3. I felt the same way, I honestly don't understand how someone can put another human being through so much pain. I just want to hug him and take his hurts away.

  5. Oh Jeez, Norma. This had me tearing up. Poor boy. Bullied from first grade - it's what I'm dreading will happen to my boys. I'm gonna be a dragon-mom at school, making sure it doesn't happen. I grew up with a (boy) friend who was bullied every single day and those older guys scared the shit out of me. This boy reminded me of him (though my friend isn't gay - he was just bullied because he lived next to the bully and the other one lived on my street...which was next to his street). If that ordeal left ME with scars, imagine how it left my friend :/

  6. @ Louella... Hey Lella, how is that beautiful Baby boy - give him big smoochie kisses from me... and yeah I hope the bullying stops. For Some reason this video just hit me.

@ Erica... My best friend in high school was gay, but he very rarely got picked on as I think I scared the bullies. they new with out a doubt if they touched my friend I would knock them on their arse's. Mind you I wasn't a bully myself but I did stick up for what I considered mine. Probably the reason I had a lot of Gay friends in high school.
