Same difference?

Who needs Christmas ghosts when they could have something a lot more real and substantial to help celebrate the season.

Blurb:

For the past few years, Bill has struggled with the loss of his life partner, Kevin, and his attraction to Kevin's twin, Trevor. Is it Trevor he really wants, or does he just want his life back? Two days before Christmas, when Trevor appears at his door, he knows it's time to finally decide if he can live again.

Excerpt:

“You want a drink?”

Bill downed the last swallow of his scotch and thunked the empty glass down. “Sure.”

He folded his arms over his chest, using his shoulder to prop up the doorframe as Trevor opened a bottle of rum and proceeded to snap ice-cubes out of the freezer tray into two glasses fetched from the cupboard. He poured a liberal amount of rum into one and a splash into the other, then filled them with ’nog. He took his time stirring the strong drink while he sipped the other and examined Bill from across the room.

“You’re getting thin.”

It wasn’t even close to the opening gambit Bill expected, and it left him momentarily speechless. Then he remembered this was Trevor, not Kevin. No matter how much he might look like his dead twin, Trevor would never tell Bill he looked like shit, even if it was true.

Bill grunted and took the drink. He gulped half of it down and spun away into the living room. Trevor followed him.

“Something I should know?”

“Like what?”

“Bill, c’mon.” He stopped behind Bill, but didn’t raise his voice from the same, quiet calm he’d started with. “I was there too. I know about weight loss and sickness and looking tired. If there was something wrong, you’d tell me, right?”

Hi, everyone. I'd like to invite you over to Freya's Bower. Sometime in the next few days, you will find a free read there, just a little thank you to the readers who make this gig possible, and so very enjoyable.

Thanks to Michelle for offering me the opportunity and being the apparently tireless editor she is, and to the rest of the FB team for supporting my habit. You all rock immensely.

Blurb:

When Allan Song’s ex, Mac, shows up to model for the life drawing class Allan teaches, he turns everything upside-down. Mac is still as infuriatingly attractive as when Allan first met him—and still trying to figure out where he fits on the gender spectrum. He’s more than a little out of control, and he’s taken some stupid risks that have come back to haunt him. If they’re going to get back together, Allan wants a real relationship—but for that, he and Mac will need to look below the surface.
