Day 90: Bigfoot

I have been watching a whole heap of shows on and about bigfoot. Whether you are a believer or not, they have been interesting to see. the different ways people go in search of a bigfoot site. Me personally, I think there could be some truth to all the stories. I also believe that we should leave well enough alone. That if they do exist, then we should let them live their own lives as they are probably only trying to survive as they know best.

There is one show where the guy that is a sceptic; I just want to reach through the screen and slap him upside the head. He can't believe in the paranormal/mythical... but will then come up with another answer and always starts with. "If you get the perfect setting at the perfect time, this could happen." Where in reality, he couldn't possibly know what the conditions were like on any given night/day.

I'll just keep watching the shows and the ghost ones; because honestly, I just like seeing the people in the show's reaction. sometimes it's funny as hell. Or they seem truly terrified and have the shakes/shivers really bad.

Until tomorrow, remember: What doesn't kill you will probably try again.

Day 89: Where's Wally ~ Do You See Him?

My grandies, especially the two youngest, love doing Where's Wally. And they both keep asking me for hints. So being the good Mar-Mar (Grandma) that I am I have spent a day going through all our Wally books (7) and found all the main stuff (& wrote it down). So, now when they ask for a hint, I can give them one. Only in one picture (Fun in the Foreign Legions) I just can't find the bone. I tried looking up the answer. but apparently, there are different versions of the same picture (Of where the main non-people) objects are set up. So, for now I'll have to keep searching. In case you're all wondering I have the Australian version.

At least now the kids can enjoy finding the rest of the stuff. I still haven't gone through and done the lists in the back of each book. They are for another day; there is only so much my eyes can take at one time.

Until tomorrow, remember: All's well that ends well.

Day 88: Happy Birthday Graceful

A very happy 8th birthday

To a wonderful granddaughter.

You're going to have an amazing day.

Until tomorrow; remember: Not in jail, not in a mental hospital, not in a grave... I'd say it's a very good day.

Day 86: Ants!

With all the crappy weather we've been having, our house is overrun by ants. those little, tiny motherhumpers that you can hardly see, but can't get rid of them. Not are their only an abundance of ants, but the flies and spider have really increased in numbers. All trying to get out of the weather. My mum always says that having ants as we do is a sign we're going to be in for a shit-ton of rain.

So you guessed it, today I'm going around the house and spraying everywhere, especially the window ledges and the doorways. Anywhere these little buggers can come in. Another job that is best done while everyone is either at work or school.

Until tomorrow; remember: Life is just a series of obstacles preventing us from reading books.

Day 85: Family... Gotta Love Them

How can you say mad at the grandkids when they look at you after they have done something wrong and tell you that they love you. Or that the reason they are driving you bonkers is because you are their Mar-Mar and they just live you so much.

At least today they are all at school and I can get the floors mopped without them leaving little footprints everywhere because they just walked over my nice clean-and still damp floors.

I'm also back on the computer today; doing a bit here and there. Still just trying to get things decluttered and organised. Though, I swear to God that the computer changes things on me every time I shut down for the day. Takes me forever to find things sometimes.

Seriously though I'm tired of folding up the washing and everyone just chucking it into drawers and baskets... or leave it sitting out until they wear it again. I blame my daughter for this because it's a learned behaviour.

Until tomorrow; remember: Karma takes care of those who have done us wrong.

Day 84: Grocery Day

Today I am hoping like hell that the groceries are not going to cost us a fortune. It seems like every week that they go up and up, and there seems to be less and less in the store.

At least the pantry is now clean, and we (I) can easily put everything away. it drives me bonkers when everyone just shoves it in anywhere.

Today is also deep cleaning the shower day. I'm having a hard time getting the soap marks off the floor. Because Hurricane is allergic to scented soap, we use Sunlight soap, and sadly it is leaving a white residue on my brown tiled floor

Until tomorrow; remember: Psst, my cat says you are a little B*tch
