Time To Stop The Hurting!!!

  Seriously, I saw this You Tube post and it had me reaching for the tissues. This kid would have to be one of the bravest kids I have seen in a long time. After watching this I just wanted to reach through the screen and give him a great big hug and tell him that it will get better. But does it really - when too many people just look the other way. BULLYING for any reason should be shut down. Who are we that we feel we have the right to pick on someone just because they don't fit into our kind of normal.

  My number one wish for 2012 is that people will hold out a hand in friendship instead of using that same hand to push people down. For the words,  "How are you?" to be spoken instead of, "I hate you!" such simple things and yet they could change someone's life completely... So I say to you all - just think about how your actions and words are going to affect those around you, but mostly think about how the future generations listen and see what we say and do, and how it will shape their own lives, and how they will treat the people around them.

 Come on Australia, get your act together (& yes I am talking about our Politicians that are about to debate and vote on this starting today.) It is about time we did the right thing and give all Australian's equal rights... Queensland did the right thing by legalising same sex civil unions but that is not enough...
