Playing Catch-Up...

1) I just saw I got this awesome review so feel free to check it out if you want to.

2) As some of you know I've been out of action for nearly a month with fricken migraines--Not fun in any sense of the word... because I can't spend time sitting in front of the computer without the blinding-my head wants to explode-sort of way.

3) So instead, in moments of actually being to able think I've been working on The Lines of Marsden (all in long hand) so no back lit computer screen to annoy the shit out of me.

4) I think  Sons Of Evenmore: Blood to Blood is either in proofing or have just been sent to formatting. To be honest I can't remember, but when I find out I will let you know.

5) I'm still working on the submissions for Rooster & Pig Publishing I hope to get them sent off in the next couple of weeks - the 3 chaps needed for submission are done. I'm just working on blurbs and synopsis.

6) I missed out on attending Soundwave because of my stupid headaches, but Em and her cousin had a blast... So jealous as I really wanted to see The Living End, Black Veil Brides, & Korn.

7) Decided I can't afford to go to GRL this year or to South Shields in England like I was planning to--Apparently the tax man would like my money more.

8) Hub's family has come and gone--nice visit. I haven't seen them in about two years the kids have grown up.

9) Just received Galley on The Lines of Marsden: Living in Shadows. So you all know what I'm working on at the moment.

10) I'm not sure what the hell's going on at Silver Publishing, but when I find out I'll  be able to give you an update on my works there.

Book Review...

Good or bad I will let you choose. Though I would like to say that many of the things that have taken place in this book have really happened inside my family...unbelievable as it seems. I did change names and places so my family stays partially hidden.

Book 2: Beautiful Goodbyes does in fact start where this book leaves off... though Book 2 is not about Ray & Viv even though they are still very present in the book, and book 2 is not a HEA. I can't even class it as a HFN it's more a filler book so what happens in 3,4, & 5 make more sense.

Reviews & Other News...

I will let you decide whether you agree or disagree - I think this is awesome.

OTHER NEWS:

Well honestly, I haven't been doing much as most of my time lately has been spent getting stuff together for the Tax man and trying to organise my ITIN number (which is apparently important if you live outside of the USA and are an author). So if by any chance you're an author and this applies to you for all USA publishers... then I would say you better get one organised.

I also got all the way to the hospital on Wednesday and had no sooner sat down when we found out mum's cataract operation had been cancelled due to a high list of emergency patients. So now we will have to wait until sometime in May before we hear when we're to go again.

Then to top off a very hectic week; a truck drove past me and threw up a rock and chipped my wind screen so now I have the repair guy coming out to tell me if I can repair it or if the whole thing needs replacing.

Here are a couple of places to see some more reviews for One Last Kiss Goodbye... some are good and some are so-so, but I will leave it up to you guys to see whether you like the story or not - because I may be a tad bias in my opinion.

Finally back!!! & A Awesome Review

I lost my net for nearly nine days - so that is the reason I haven't been around lately. And I am about to head off to GRL in two days (I will try and post while we are away and fill you in on what's happening) - I am  also going to a wedding tomorrow, but I will post a picture of me and Em in our wedding clobber so you can all take a squiz.

Thank you Lisa

Playing Catch-Up & A Review

This is a picture of my family way back when my siblings were all young I am still a few years from even being a thought in my parents minds. (well the four on the left are my siblings I have no clue who the one on the right is. so that is Julie = blond, Brenda = curly, Ted = baby and Catherine (Saff) = holding Ted.

They will probably all wanna kill me when they see this, but I would like to point out I found it on Julie's Facebook first so blame her.

Okay, so now we are onto my other news, and what I have been up to for the past week in my absence.  I have spent most of the week spring cleaning my house, and let's just say I can't believe the crap I have kept since the last time I felt the urge to clean the whole house.

I have also been in meetings for our company where my name was yet again the cause of us having to resign paper work but at least now it is all sorted out - I hope.

Last night some mongrel decide to decimate our wheelie bin, so we are now trying to get a new one because not even reliable old duct tape is going to be able to help this one. she is split on all four sides and I am not eve sure the bottom is attached. I hope the fucker that hit it with their car has a huge dent in their bonnet this morning.

I am not saying this review on One last Kiss Goodbye is good or bad, I will let you decide for yourselves.

Due To Being A Slack-Arse...

Just get your minds out of the gutter right now, this has nothing to do with SEX! Well not yet anyway... I was supposed to post the next instalment of Jettermane today but you guessed it I haven't even written it yet. I am hoping to get it done by tonight. So instead I thought I would share something with you all.

A friend pointed out some shoes  that Jambi posted over on Facebook and we all got to talking about them because they are fricken awesome So in a round about way we will Blame Z Allora for saying they should be written into a story on the feet of a cross dresser and I opened my big mouth saying yes an Emo/Goth cross dresser and if somebody gave me a title and the names of the characters I would right the story. Jambi supplied that information.

Story Title: Walk This Way
Characters: Shawn & Cory

So now I will work on this story and add it to my list of books to get done by the end of the year. Wish me luck - I may just need it. (Lucky I love a good Challenge).

A Little Piece Of Me!

I saw this picture on face book about hearing voices in our heads and thought it was funny:  After reading this and thinking about it for awhile I realised this is so true. As a writer I do have voices talking in my head... I don't think a day goes by where I don't have one character or the another vying for attention of some kind. Usually Vladimir keeps them all under control but I have days now when even Vlad says, "Fuck it: have fun and run wild."

Holy Crap & Then Some...

I know that today is Blog story day but I am afraid I have to put in on hold for a couple of days. (Hopefully get it posted in two days = my Tuesday) as I have edits for Silver Publishing on my Father's Day story: One Last Kiss Goodbye

And when I say edits - I mean there is a shit load of them to do. Honestly it isn't so much as that I have a tone of changes to make but I do have  1244 edits notes to wade through, but in all honesty there are actually only about 198 minor changes to make the story flow. (I.E. I have to replace a semi colon with a period/full stop.) My wonderful editor on this project must have had heart failure when he first clapped eyes on the way I write. Is it bad that I actually apologised to me editor ahead of time? Though I know by the end of it all we will have a better product in our hands.

Toowoomba Boys: Hunting for Clay Review

As You Can Tell...

So I have been a little bit sick over the last week (nothing major - inner ear balance is out of whack.) I got to thinking that I needed to upgrade my blog a little. I know the changes aren't huge and you probably didn't even notice that I had changed anything.

I decided in my off balance wisdom to make this blog site all about me. I will still occasionally pimp other people and Em and I will still do beautiful people and Em's Turn (music)... actually it will be basically exactly the bloody same - LOL - but I will remember to update the widgets at the end of each week.

You will be able to see I have added a heap more widget counters so I now have most of my workable WIPs on display. And in my rambles I will tell you more about my works. So if there is any that you think you might like to hear more about feel free to leave me a comment on each days post and I will try and accommodate what you ask.

Mostly though you are just going to get whatever falls out of my head. I can't promise that it will make sense because seriously half the time I don't even know what is going on... LOL - My Muse has taken a vacation with a couple of my main characters... he left me a message saying he has picked up a few more stragglers to bring home to share with you all. I wonder just who it is - crap lets just hope they're legal - or I could be writing YA a lot sooner than I planned.

A not so good review but hey not everyone likes my style.

JUST FINISHED!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I have finished my novella I plan on submitting to Silver Publishing. So I need you all to keep everything you can crossed for me. I am hoping this will be the first on many new stories from me.

One Last Kiss Goodbye.
Word Count: 26,004

BLURB:  (May work on this Blurb)

His whole life Jacen Ives had to hide his feeling's from the one person he knew he was meant to love. Leaving Queensland to get away from the happy family Kayne as making for himself didn't help - because his heart could never forget.

A mistake made at eighteen set Kayne's future in place. So with one last kiss goodbye he lied and let his heart walk away – in the form of his best friend’s younger brother. They say time heals all wounds, yet sometime it just confuses the matter especially when Kayne has two young children to raise.

On that note, I will away as I have another Father;s day Story to finish and a 4th of July story calling my name...
