Last Post Before My Xmas-Hanukkah Month Starts

I have to take Em to the Chiropractor this morning and then I have to get my new car stereo fixed (go figure). So now that I find myself not under pressure because I finished Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire... and I made my required word count for NaNoWriMo - I came in at 56,100 on two different projects. I know soon I will have the edits on my Aussie Day: Bush Bashin' coming up but that's okay... I am also finally pulling out The Lines of Marsden: Living in Shadows and dusting it off = my Beta Readers Sue & Yoda will just about cark it when they start receiving parts of the manuscript. Hopefully I will have it finished and subbed early next year for you all... I didn't get as many authors as I would have liked for my Xmas-Hanukkah month so I am going to fill out the vacant spots with Xmas scenes from my WIPS so you can get a feel other characters I am working with. Just so I hope you know - I hope you all fall in love with Ray Connelly from Windblown Kisses: My Knight in Tarnished Armour, or even future characters in that story such as Jamie and Bear (Teddy) who are only children in this first book, as much as I love Them.

PS: At some stage in the next month I am going to give my Blog and overhaul and de clutter most of it so people like me stop getting distracted.

It's Done!

My Warrior Vamps - Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire is finished... I have just submitted it to Kimberly at MLRso I need you all to keep your crossables crossed for it to get accepted... That's it I am exhausted but happy with the end result. I just have to send Kimberly the Synopsis and blurbs which I will do as soon as I get back from the post office.

UPDATE: I got through the galley proof on Chritmastime at Papa Lee's and sent it back to the wonderful Kris Jacen.

Damn It!

I am finally on the tail end of my story for Kimberly, Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire... and now we have a freaking thunder storm rolling in with the possibility of our power going out - I am at 30 K and I still have one chapter to write... What a pain in the arse time to get a storm. I wrote 5 K on the story yesterday and 5 K today. Almost there I can see the light (well not so much if the power goes out... Computer is flickering so I better shut down. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to tell you I wrote those final words THE END

Okay So This Is What I've Done

I know that I am doing Xmas/ Hanukkah stories and posts on my blog for the whole month of December. I and I still plan on doing that. I have also signed up for a Christmas Blog Hop. I am not sure whether I am one of the successful applicants  as I think Drea is capping off the blogger list at 150 entrants this time. Which I can understand. If I am successful then the blog runs from 14th -17th and I figure I can still blog and pimps peoples Xmas/ Hanukkah works.

Just A Quickie

Okay just so I don't end up a slacker like some people - **coughs into hand** (yes I do mean you Embry). I thought I would let you know what is happening in my life... Even though we loved being at GRL this year  in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Emily and I will have to miss the gang when they hit Atlanta in 2013... but we will be there for the next one for sure.

After I finish this project I am working on for my wonderful MLR editor Kimberly Brandt... I am going to be concentrating on the following projects:

The Lines of Marsden: Living in Shadows
(Follows Rules are Meant to be Broken)
Toowoomba Boys: Dancing with Demons
(Follows Hunting for Clay)
Lancaster's way: A Different Way of Seeing
(Follows When Souls Collide)
Mixed Tape: I Should Have Known Better
(one off)

If there is anything I should be working on that you can remember and I have forgotten feel free to let me know and I will make sure it is added to the list.

Here are a couple of places to see some more reviews for One Last Kiss Goodbye... some are good and some are so-so, but I will leave it up to you guys to see whether you like the story or not - because I may be a tad bias in my opinion.

December Promo Scavenger Hunt With Free Holiday Story Book Give Away and Sitewide Discount Code Scramble

Happy holidays! Silver Publishing wants to give our fans more than 60 chances to win either a free Holiday Story from our 25 Days of Christmas Releases or for a lucky random five 20% off codes! And if you are really dedicated there is a Word Scramble included that will provide a discount for titles purchased during the last week of December!

To make it even more exciting, the authors participating may offer new and interesting content or contests of their own to help distract from the frantic pace of the holidays.

So, how does it work?

In a nutshell: Find all the snowflakes every day, email us at promotions@spsilverpublishing.com with the author name/date for each snowflake you find, check our blog daily to see if you won and then use the pertinent snowflakes to spell out an additional discount code to use at the end of the month.

Not in a nutshell: Participants go to the following blogs every day in December and find the hidden snowflakes. There will be at least two, sometimes three snowflakes to be found among the list of facebook/blogs/websites below for our authors. The snowflake will look like a variation of this:

Find them all for the maximum amount of chances to win.

Once you find the snowflake, note the letter, number or character as well as the numerical indicator (if present) on the snowflake for the scramble. The numbered snowflakes will line up to spell out your discount code.

Email us at promotions@silverpublishing.com with the name of the blog/website where the snowflakes were hidden on that date.

Important email format: Please put only the name of one author and the date in your subject line - for maximum chances to win, each snowflake/author found should be its own email for an increased daily chance to win.

If your email subject line includes the correct answer you will be entered into a random drawing to win the Christmas Release for the day you found the snowflake. There will be at least 2 winners per day; five days there will be 3 winners.

Winners will be notified in our new BLOG here: http://bit.ly/Wi7uyq = (bookmark this link so that you can check back each day.) If you are the winner for that day, email us with your email address and format desired to promotions@silverpublishing.com so that we can get your prize to you quickly.

Helpful hints: Some authors will have more than one snowflake during the event. But authors will only post one snowflake per day so search them all every day. Don’t leave any out for maximum chances to win.

Once you have found all the snowflakes, line up the letters, characters and numbers based on the numerical indicator (when present) to spell out our Holiday message and receive a discount code that will be active from Dec 25 – 31st.

Not every participating author has a Holiday release but you’ll want to collect the snowflake on their site for another chance to win the story being released that day. And…they might have one of the five valuable discount snowflakes we’ve hidden with your chance to win that day.

If the authors are running additional contests, take advantage for additional ways to win throughout the month.

Here is your list and GOOD LUCK!

I'm Back! Did You Miss Me?

So I thought I should let you know for the last three days I wasn't ignoring you all or my blog - here in my part of Australia we have been having super storm cells and rolling blackouts - thankfully nothing as bad as hit New York...

Today I have been catching up on the gazillion emails waiting for me and then I started on the final galley edits of A Moon-Runner Christmas... I think now it is ready to be set aside for sale.

What else has happened - I did manage to go and watch the last Twilight saga movie Breaking Dawn Part Two - lets just say I should not swear in the theatre when it goes dead silent because apparently I am very loud. I bet a few of you who have already seen the movie know exactly which part I am referring to.

Tomorrow I have to finally get caught up in the work I need to get done for Kimberly - as you all know she is my wonderful MLR Editor... I need to try and get finished Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire.

Updates On Me...LOL.

Yes, I still have my bloody  headache and it is driving me completely nuts. But I will get through it eventually with the help of my trusty friends Codeine & Panadol. Okay give me a good twenty minutes for them both to kick in so I can write and it actually makes sense.

I have made it to halfway through my effort for NaNoWriMo - Taking Chances: Lie to Me and reached the 25K mark but I will have to admit defeat and say I don't think I will make the whole 50K this year as I still have so much to do on other projects.

I also finally managed to reach 15K on my Warrior Vamps - Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire and still have a further 10 K to write before it is complete. So everyone keep everything crossed that I make it in on time.

On other more exciting news - I have 1 WEEK until Em and I go and see Nickelback and I can get myself a new t-shirt. 3 years is a long time between shows. Now if the Americans could just send me over Theory of a Deadman, Chris Daughtry, Black Veil Brides, Sick Puppies, Linkin Park (and actually do a concert in QLD) then I will e a very happy girl - I think our next concert will be Green Day if we manage to get tickets.

I got the mock up of my cover from MLR for Christmastime at Papa Lee's... as soon as I get the final copy I will put it on display for you right here n this blog  - Lucky it's mine

Getting There-

Today I am trying to get back into my writing... I have had a couple of days off due to my migraine and now I am once again running behind and quickly running out of time to get everything done. I am trying to at least reach 10 K on my warrior vamps - Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimoire. I have come to a standstill on my NaNoWriMo story - Taking Chances: Lie to Me.

Why is it when you have so much to get done - everything else seems to want to jump into your path and slow you down? I woke up this morning with the greatest urge to change my blog - I am trying hard to wait until at least after November has ended but it is like an itch I just can't seem to scratch.

On that note I will away and get some more done in my writing for today so that I can at least try and catch up so that I make my deadlines.

PS: I heard from a little bird Embry Carlysle is on the tail end of her Warrior Vamps story (I will tell you the name of it after she has been accepted) - I heard it was almost ready to be sent to the beta reader. I am so happy for her and can't wait to see her name attached to a MLR cover let's all keep our crossables crossed for her submission to be accepted.

Ugh!!! & December Update.

My head feels like it is ready to explode. I have had a full on migraine for two days and today even though I don't feel as bad - my head is still pounding out and incessant rhythm that makes me want to hide under the blankets in a very dark room and growl at anyone who comes near me - Why is it when you have a headache, every one feels the need to talk to you - loudly... very loudly. Everything is so damn bright. So I am going to shut down and try and ride this thing out.

I must say now it isn't looking good to me finishing my NaNoWriMo but I am still going to give it a good go and try and get most of it completed - I am mainly working on my Warrior Vamps - Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimiore and trying to get it done (luckily my awesome editor: Kimberly Brandt has given me the extension for it).

The In-Betweens.

In between doing all the writing that I have to get done during November I'm trying to work out what to blog for the month of December - and I've decided that I'm going to be blogging a month of Christmas and Hanukkah stories... I don't mind if they're years old or they're brand new - if you want to send me an excerpt of a story than I'll happily blog it. Hell, I don't even care if its MM or FF or MF or a multitude of other combinations.

Email me if you have something I can share.

Can You Believe...

Can you believe how fast this year is flying by? It only feels like yesterday I celebrated Christmas and  now it is only 48 days away... I am busy trying to get my 2012 commitments finished because next year I have specific things I want to get done and out in 2013. But I will tell you what they are on Jan 1st.

My poor cat Droogie has had a woeful year as well - his latest incident happened when I was at GRL. A neighbours dog bit him on the head and no one even realised - when I got home it was the first thing I saw as half his face was swollen... Two weeks later he is almost back to normal and following me around in case I leave again.

Em is back at work and working hard - she has been working late nearly every day to help get some drilling done for her dad. Don't ask me because I don't know - If I act like I'm interested then I would probably have to help, (there's a method to my madness).

Exciting news is in about eight days Embry Carlysle is going to submit her first story (Warrior Vamps) for publication to MLRPress so I have all my crossables crossed for her. I know she is a tad nervous so can you all keep your fingers crossed as well.

This year I have met so many interesting people for the first time - some I have know over the net some not. And some people have given me as well as many other people plot bunnies (yes Jared I'm talking about you). next year I hope my friends list grows because there are so many interesting people I have still yet to meet.

Just Subbed...

Just a quick note - I just subbed my Australia Day story: Bush Bashin' to MLRPress. I am damn tired I can tell you as I wrote about 6K all up yesterday on all my different projects. I have to write a blurb for AD:BB and I don't want to as I suck at blurbs... but it has to be done and as my mum says, "Suck it up, Princess, and get the job done."

Now I can concentrate on the NaNoWriMo and the Warrior Vamps - Come on December - LOL. Once November is passed I won't be quite so hectic.

A Moon-Runner Christmas

BLURB:

Two Lives – One Destiny. When fate decides two people belong together, nothing can stand in its way. Liam Kantry and Carlo Bruenelli find themselves caught up in the madness of Christmas as they discover the meaning of being true heart-mates.

Liam Kantry wants to be with the man he has loved his whole life, yet incessant rumours and innuendos have labelled him the pack whore –– a point he never disputed.

Carlo Bruenelli is waiting for his heart-mate; he is one of those who believe they really do exist. In his heart he wants it to be his best friend, only Liam doesn’t believe in heart-mates. What will it take to change Liam’s mind?

Christmas is drawing near, and between snowball fights and the contract ceremony. Liam and Carlo find themselves caught in the excitement and obsessing over what their future holds.

Are the true heart-mates will they forge a successful future for themselves or destroy two families?

Today I am....

=> Again I got up before the rest of the household and began working on my NaNo story - I got another couple of K done bringing my total up to 5,420... but apparently the NaNoWriMo site doesn't like me today and won't let me log in to up date my stuff - I will keep trying all day until I get it done.

=> I am determined to finish my bloody Aussie Day story today - I was at the Doctors yesterday with Em and then did some running around for our company so I didn't get a damn thing done. I need to get it to my Beta today.

=> Did I tell you I bought a trampoline... and no not for my kiddo, because as most of you know she is 22 (almost 23). I got it for me the Doctor said it is a great way to exercise... I had to get one with a safety net as most people who know me know how much of a klutz I am... I will let you know how it's going - or - how many bruises I have accumulated. I am hoping the hubs can put it together for me today - and wouldn't you know it - it looks like it is about to piss down rain. (After seeing pictures of myself at GRL I decided next year the pictures will look way better - I don't want to be supper thin or anything I just want to be healthier. Em has me on a better eating and exercise routine. .. Remind me later and I will give you an update on what is happening with me, (after GRL I came home and I was 104 kg or 229.2 lbs). I can happily say I have lost some since then I am calling the regime... Project HEA 2013 = Healthier eating Alternative & 2013 because I will keep going until GRL 2013.

More Updates - In Case You're Wondering.

Okay, Today is the start of a very busy month for me NaNoWriMo started for me today and I am happy to announce that I got up at the arse-crack of dawn and wrote on Taking Chances: Lie to Me 3140 to get me almost to my two day tally - as I have to go to Toowoomba tomorrow. Also just when I thought I was going to get my Aussie Day story done  Bush Bashin' which I still have 4K to go - I got my first round of edits on MLR's Christmas story - Christmastime at Papa Lee's. I am happy to announce that I got them finished today. I am still way behind but my wonderful MLR editor Kimberly Brandt is allowing me two extensions on the Aussie Day and my Warrior Vamps - Sons of Evenmore: The Crimson Grimiore.

Here's hoping that this weekend I get a heap of writing done and catch up on all my late projects... feel free to give me a little nudge when you think I am getting slack.
